Wordnest processes word-list edits and imports in your browser. The application does not upload the list to generate activities or PDFs. Browser storage and exported files are your responsibility to keep.
Words, files, and browser storage
Words and page settings are saved in localStorage for this website in the current browser. Importing CSV, TSV, TXT, XLSX, or JSON reads the file locally. Printing uses the browser's print system. The current application has no account, server-side word-list database, cloud sync, or analytics integration.
Ordinary website requests
Loading the website still sends normal web requests to its hosting provider, which can receive information such as IP address, browser details, and requested URLs under its own policies. The public guides and sample word lists do not contain your private entries.
Optional support through Ko-fi
Support links open an embedded Ko-fi panel only when you choose to open it, or when you visit the Support page. Ko-fi then receives normal connection information and may use cookies under its own policies. Our application does not pass your word list or page settings to the panel.
Payment details and any information you enter in the panel are handled by Ko-fi and its payment providers, not by the Wordnest application. A direct link is available if the embed does not load. Read Ko-fi’s privacy policy before entering information if you want to learn more.
Downloads and backups
CSV exports, JSON backups, and saved PDFs contain the learning content you choose to export. Anyone you share those files with can read them. A JSON backup preserves editable words and settings; a PDF preserves printable pages.
Clearing or moving data
Clear this site's browser data to remove local word lists and settings. Closing an incognito session can also remove them. A different device, browser, or website origin does not automatically have your saved list. Download a backup before moving from a local preview to a published domain.
No child account is needed
You do not need to enter a child's name, birth date, email address, or school to use Wordnest. The printable Name and Date areas are blank writing lines. Avoid putting sensitive information in learning lists or files you plan to share.
