Choose a manageable group from the full list
Import the whole school or language-class list once. Select Five-day pack, choose Words per pack, then choose Which pack. The page explicitly shows the selected range in practice order. It does not delete the words outside that group.
For example, a 20-word source list with 10 words per pack gives two packs. Pack 1 uses words 1–10, and Pack 2 uses words 11–20. A 23-word list produces a third pack containing only the remaining three words. Choose the amount that fits the child, rather than treating the maximum as a target.
The weekday names are navigation labels, not a calendar or reminder service. Choose any five days, repeat an activity, or take a break.
What is in the five-day pack?
| Page | Activity | What the child sees |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | The week at a glance | A checklist and the selected words. |
| Monday | Read & say | Both the clue and target, ready to read together. |
| Tuesday | Copy & write | A model with a blank writing area. |
| Wednesday | Make a match | Numbered clues and shuffled lettered choices. |
| Thursday | Try to remember | Clues with space to recall the answer. |
| Friday | Your little word quiz | The same words in a fresh order. |
The suggested 5–10 minutes on the plan is a starting point, not a measured completion time or learning guarantee. Read clues aloud if useful and stop when the activity is no longer helping.
Build, preview, and print your pack
- Open the five-day word pack maker and prepare two columns of words and clues.
- Select 5, 10, or 20 words per pack, then select the source range you want this time.
- Use Plan, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, and Fri above the preview to inspect the pages. Some activities can take more than one page.
- In Page setup, adjust the writing direction and space. Chinese answers can use one square per Hanzi.
- Choose A4 or US Letter. Include the parent key if wanted, then choose Print this pack.
The parent pages cover matching, recall, and the quiz. Read & say already shows the pairs, and Copy & write already includes a model. The quiz key follows the quiz's shuffled order.
A five-day pack is not always five sheets
The pack includes an overview and five activities, and matching can span several groups. In the current 10-word English example on US Letter, the pack has seven activity pages plus four optional parent-key pages. Your own words, layout, and paper choice can change that count.
Use the preview and print summary before printing. Leave Include answer key unchecked if you only need the child's pages. You can also choose a single activity from the same list instead of the full pack.
Activity choice, pack size, and pack selection are saved in this browser and included in a JSON backup. The plan itself is a printable checklist, not an online progress tracker.
Questions parents ask
Does a five-day pack include the entire list?
It includes one explicitly selected group at a time. The complete list remains in the editor, with other groups available in Which pack.
Are the weekdays scheduled automatically?
No. They organize the printable activities and preview navigation. Wordnest does not schedule reminders, track completion, or assign dates.
